ヴィクトリア朝風ドレスの再現
CONCEPT
本研究は、1860年代の婦人服の特徴と当時の縫製方法について調査し、アジア人の体型に合わせ、ヴィクトリア朝風のドレスを作ることを目的とした。
調査資料から1860年代婦人服の特徴をまとめ、特徴が表現された新たなデザインを発想し、デイドレスとイブニングドレスを制作する。
1860年代のパターンをベースに現在のアジア女性が着用できるよう、寸法を調整したパターンを作成し、当時の縫製技法を参考に実物を制作した。

Reproduction of Victoran-style Dresses
CONCEPT
The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of women’s clothing of the 1860s and the sewing methods used at that time, and to create Victorian-style dresses to suit the Asian body type.
Based on the research materials, we will summarize the characteristics of women’s clothing in the 1860s and come up with a new design that expresses these characteristics to create a day dress and an evening dress.
Based on the pattern of the 1860s, we created a pattern with adjusted dimensions so that it could be worn by Asian women today, and produced the actual dress by referring to the sewing techniques of the time.
