プラスチック素材を使用したニットデザイン－環境意識向上を目指して
CONCEPT
地球環境の悪化は、現代の大きなの課題一つである。アパレル業界では、服の過剰生産により廃棄の問題が起こっている。環境を保護するために、新しい服の生産方法を私たちは考えなければならない。
この研究では、多くの人が環境問題について考えるきっかけとなるような作品制作を目的とする。数ある環境問題の中でも、プラスチックゴミによる海洋汚染に着目し、プラスチック素材を服の装飾やニットの編み地として利用し、手編みのニットをメインとして作品を制作した。

The Knit Design with Plastic Materials: Aiming to Raise Environmental Awareness
CONCEPT
The deterioration of the global environment is one of the major challenges of our time. In the apparel industry, the overproduction of clothes has created a problem of waste. In order to protect the environment, we need to figure out new ways to produce clothes. The purpose of this research is to create a clothes that will inspire many people to think about environmental issues. Among the many environmental problems, I focused on the ocean pollution caused by plastic waste, and used plastic materials as decoration for clothes and knitting fabric for knitwear, and created my work mainly with hand-knitted knitwear.
