『山海経』をモチーフとした漢洋折衷衣服の提案
CONCEPT
『山海経』とは古代中国人の地理認識を示す地理書である。そこには多くの伝説、妖怪、神々の神話が含まれている。それらの妖怪や神々からインスピレーションを受け、『山海経』の世界観を表現した。「和洋折衷」という言葉に習い、漢服の要素と洋服の要素を融合した「漢洋折衷」のデザインを試みた。さらに、3Dプリンター、レーザーカッター、デジタルプリントなど複数のニューテクノロジーの応用を加え、漢服発展の可能性を摸索した。

The Proposal for Clothing That Combines Western and Chinese Styles Inspired by “Sengaikyo (Shan Hai Jing)”, the Oldest Geography of China
CONCEPT
“Sengaikyo (Shan Hai Jing)” is an ancient geographical account of China. In it is recorded many tales of myths , demons and gods. Taking inspiration from these mythical beings and deities described in the text, this research attempts to recreate the worldview of “Sengaikyo (Shan Hai Jing)”.
Blending elements of Western and Chinese clothing, the final designs try to achieve a harmonious combination of East and West. Furthermore, this research greeted to develop further possibilities for Hanfu with the use of new technologies such as 3D printing, laser-cutting and digital printing.
