食資源のリサイクルによる植物染色とオリジナルデザインの提案
CONCEPT
現在、ファストファッションの大量生産・大量廃棄というビジネスモデルが、環境に大きな影響を与えている。多くの生地は化学染料などで染色されているという様な状況の中、生活の中で廃棄される食資源をリサイクルして染色している企業があることを知り、この研究に至った。
破棄される野菜や果物を利用して、pH値を導き出して綿、麻、羊毛で染色実験を行い、 植物染色した素材を組み合わせて作品制作を行いオリジナルデザインの提案を試みた。

Technology of Vegetable dye by food resources recycle and Original Design Proposal
CONCEPT
Currently, the business model of mass production and mass disposal of fast fashion has a great impact on the environment. In the situation where many fabrics are dyed with chemical dyes, I learned that there is a company that recycles and dyes food resources that are discarded in daily life, which led to this research.
Specifically, using discarded vegetables and fruits, various pH values are derived, dyeing experiments are conducted with cotton, linen, and wool, cloth is modified and dyed, and plant-dyed wool and fabric are combined. I tried to make a work as a proposal of original design.
