本研究は、衣服生産と生地開発における持続可能性と環境配慮への重要性を探求する。機能的なアウトドアウエアに使われる生地はリサイクルや自然分解が困難であり、廃棄の際には少なからず環境へ影響を及ぼす。また、ウエアの防水性、透湿性、運動時の快適性を確保する為に縫製仕様はとても重要であり、現在の市場に出回る製品は裁断ロスが多いことに着目し、1枚の布を無駄なく使用するデザインにすることで、サステナビリティに配慮した制作を目的としている。

Outdoor clothing is developed with a strong focus on functionality based on its intended use. This study explores a new type of outdoor wear that incorporates both design and material characteristics. Using functional materials with excellent stretchability, waterproofness, breathability, and thermoplastic properties, the research examines slash designs created through laser cutting to adapt to gravity and movement. Through this approach, I developed outdoor wear that balances both functionality and aesthetics.
