中古アウトドア製品を循環させるアウトドアウエアの提案

CONCEPT

高機能素材で作られた中古の寝袋、パラシュート、テントなどのアウトドア製品を解体し、素材を再利用しアウトドアウエアを制作すれば、資源の循環ができるではないかと考えたことがこの研究のきっかけである。本研究は中古アウトドア製品の生地を作品全体の75％リサイクルして、YKKのファスナー AiryString® を活用した保温やポケットなどの機能性とデザイン性を重視したアウトドアウエアの研究と制作を試みた。

Proposal for a Circular System of Used Outdoor Gear and Apparel

CONCEPT

Although genderless and unisex fashion is spreading worldwide, I believe it is important to adapt to different body shapes for a flattering fit, as there are inherent differences between men’s and women’s body structures. Therefore, by developing men’s patterns for womenswear, I will create womenswear that resembles menswear. Additionally, I will incorporate functionality into the design by utilizing YKK Corporation’s AiryString® zipper.
