本研究では、動物の姿になぞらえた神秘的な魔女たちを描いたロマン派の画家フランシスコ・デ・ゴヤの絵画や版画をモチーフとして作品制作を行った。作品で描写された魔女の持つ直感力、敏捷性、そして動物との深いつながりや、ヤギ、フクロウ、コウモリへと変容していく姿を独自のシルエットとリボンテープを加えたオリジナルのテキスタイルにより表現し、ニットデザインの可能性を模索した。女性たちが魔性を取り戻し、強く生き抜いて欲しいと願いデザインした。

This work was inspired by the paintings and prints of the Romantic painter Francisco de Goya, who depicted mysterious witches linked to animal figures. Witches’ intuitions, agility and their profound connections with animals as well as their transformations into goats, owls and bats are expressed through original textiles characterized by unique silhouettes and ribbon tapes, which is the exploration of the possibilities of knitwear design. It was designed in the hope that women regain their magical nature and strive to live strongly.
