「衣装」は表現者のイメージやストーリーの伝達をサポートし引き立てる役割があるが、舞台上のパフォーマンス環境は厳しく衣装の快適性やメンテナンス面で多くの課題がある。そのため、ベンチレーションやストレッチ素材、速乾素材など、スポーツウェアで使用されている機能を衣装に取り入れ、快適性を向上させるとともに、QuickFree® ファスナーを用いた早替えを導入した。この研究により、良好なコンディションでパフォーマンスが行えるように表現者をサポートする。

Costumes help convey and enhance the expressive performer’s image and story.The performance environment on stage is harsh, and costumes face many challenges in terms of comfort and maintenance. Therefore, it was proposed to incorporate the functionality of sportswear into stage costumes. Comfort was improved by applying some sportswear features such as ventilation, stretch fabrics, and quick-drying materials, and introduced a quick-change function using QuickFree® fastener. The application of stage-worthy design and functionality reduces the burden to performers and helps them perform in good condition.
