『機動戦士ガンダム』から発想する機能服デザイン
CONCEPT
本研究では『機動戦士ガンダム』の変形機能からインスピレーションを受け、変形することによって多目的に使用できるメンズ機能服を制作した。ガンダムの機能を服の機能へ置き換え、デザインとしてもガンダムの要素を表現することに挑戦し、副資材の使用方法や、生地の配色、切り替え、ポケットの配置、パンツからバックへの変形で表現した。

Functional Clothing Design Inspired by Mobile Suit Gundam
CONCEPT
With inspiration from the transformable function of Mobile Suit Gundam, a men’s functional garment that can be transformed to serve multiple purposes was produced in this project. The challenge was to translate the function of the Gundam into the function of a garment, and to express the design elements of the Gundam as well. Those were created out by using secondary materials, the color scheme of the fabric, the switching, the arrangement of pockets and the tansformation from a leg gown to a back gown.
